Google+ may not be as big as Facebook yet. But it is growing fast. The latest data from Experian suggests that Google+ has received more traffic than Pinterest, Tagged, and LinkedIn in the week ending June 9th, 2012. That has led to Google+ moving up from them 7th position to the 5th position on the “Top 10 Social Media Websites” list.
According to Hitwise, Google+ has grown by 37% in the past couple of weeks. The introduction of Google+ Local could have something to do with the increased activity. This community is steadily growing and will continue to do so as long as Google keeps adding new features to it. It will be interesting to see where Google+ ends up a year from now.
